I would like to clarify here that I wasn't doing a timing job for anyone but myself. Did I destroy a head, yes. Was it someone else's, no. Lesson learned, never reuse a timing belt tensioner, it may collapse the first time you fire the engine.

Greg Is A real good guy i have done many transactions with him in the past and he also knows alot...accept don't have him do a timing job with adjustable cam gears

I can't believe that there isn't already a Good Guy post started for Greg, but I'll start it.

Greg is a not only a Good Guy, but he is a Great Guy. He gave me more than I hoped for, and it was free. He is like ... a school built way up in a tree - High Class. And if he were a bottle wine, he would likely be a Chteau Mouton Rothschild Pauillac 1986 - Very highly respected.

Johhny has bought a bunch of stuff from me -- and I have bought a couple of things from him as well -- and have always been very happy with my transactions with him. He is a good guy -- highly reccomended.

Well my AFPR arrived today all in one piece and is as described condition. Sorry for the ASSumtion as the communication was not the best and I was getting nervous because two weeks had passed. He made good on the sale and I am happy.

He joined on October 6th, but then never went back our site (I usually delete such accounts with-in 6 month). So unless you happen to run into someone who knows him outside of our forum, you are not likely to find him here.

He used Northwood, NH as his home town.

We appreciate the heads up. I just thought it was quite interesting that 2 users with 0 posts on this forum had an issue, and one of them posted about it. Not a bad thing though.

Guess that's what you get for helping

That's not helping out. That's a red flag. A "gift" is something that you give without expecting something in return, so you cannot file a dispute against it on paypal.

I would never send someone gift money. They're not obligated (other than by human decency) to send you anything for your money, and there's nothing you can do about it.

I hate for this to be my first post. But I am in the process of not having a good transaction with this guy. I purchased a fuelab AFPR and hose from Jack on Feb.12 2010. I have yet to see it. I have sent many emails and phonecalls with minimal communication back. Just the usual excuses. I will be very happy to delete this post if he makes good on it and it was a simple mistake but it is not looking good.

So If anyone knows Jack or has any contact with him let him know and hopefully we can work something out.

Bought a set of 3000k 9005 bulbs for some high beams and was sent a set of white bulbs painted yellow with lens paint. Then I was told they were out of 3000k bulbs and 5000k was an "upgrade"...2nd pic shows a lens paint drip
