I'm about to upgrade the server... 
Should be no more than a couple of mins downtime, but could be more if I have to back it out. I'll keep this topic updated with info...

Later tonight (Thursday, 17th March) there'll be a short period of downtime as I update the BB software. Try again in 10 min if you get a message saying it's down.

I'm going to close the board down to do a site backup and then upgrade in the next half hour (4:15pm June 29th 2005). Should be back up fairly quickly - so go and make yourself a cup of tea or something...

It's Sunday night and fairly quiet, so in the next 10 min I'm going to close access to the board down while I do an upgrade - it shouldn't take long so check back in half an hour if you're keen.

OK, it looks like I'm ready ...
Sometime this afternoon I'm going to disable this board, copy all content to the new server, bring everything up on the new server, and finally update the DNS to the new IP. Dependent on various things the board should appear to be down for not much more than a hour - it will actually be down for less but the TTL on the DNS is set to 1 hour.

Looks like we're all moved and updated. I'll create a topic in User Feedback to discuss any anomalies - I'm sure there'll be some as everything changed in this move, although I didn't introduce any new board features - I thought that might be pushing my luck
