Bought a 2G FWD tranny off him. Transaction went well and the transmission was in great shape just as he said it was.

Hooked me up with a compressor and is still storing it for me after months and months till I can get my ass out there to get it. Embarassed
I think by now, anyone else would have just given it to another person by now. Thumbs Up
And another Thumbs Up for having the same name as me. Cool

Have had a wide range of transactions with Tony over the years and luckily his dad hasn't taken me outside and punched me in the face (or worse). Now he just needs another DSM.

Tony is a no-good greaseball wop scumbag. He still owes me money from this job we did back in the 80s where a guy ended up in a trunk. I ought to put a pen in his neck one of these days.

Other than that I am not sure we have ever had a transaction where money changed hands, but definitely have traded parts for beer, wings, and other parts.

I recommend anyone here to take his word on anything he is selling, or deals he sets up when buying or selling.

I've had many positive transactions and lots of good conversations/eats with Tony. You can expect a solid straight up deal with him. Just don't look for any 5 speed specific items from him. Smile

Bought a lot of parts off Tony and will be buying a lot more. He gets his Slow boy orders very quick and will help you out if a part gets stuck somewhere. Thumbs Up Guinness

Definitely a stand-up guy. He gives good tech advise (and dating advise!). I get the impression that he makes it a point to befriend anyone he deals with. He is very personable, very trustworthy. He is very willing to go above and beyond to help out. He is storing my car in his garage until I can pick it up! Not too many would do that. Very Happy Thumbs Up

I can't remember ever buying anything off Tony, but I may have (old men having memory troubles, eh?). He swings a mean sledge and is a DSM destructor extraordinaire. His girlfriend-at-the-time-now-wife rocks at tranny transportation too. He's one of the other guys here who I'm amazed at the distance he'll travel to help another club member.

My wife and I traded our Outback wagon for his '93 Talon TSi. We couldn't be happier with the car (well we would be happier if we could drive it, but that's my fault not Tony's Embarassed Very Happy ) .

Tony has been nothing but a stand up guy in all of his dealings with us.

I would definitely buy from him again.

I bought parts from SlowBoy through Tony, he was very helpful and flexible with changes that had to be made to the order. He is a great person to do business with.

Tony bought an engine block (and I think a few various other accessories) off of me a while back, over a year ago. Easy communication and he paid cash right on the spot. Pleasant transaction as we also talked about colleges and how there needs to be more younger DSM'ers.

I also drove to his place to check out rims/tires, but didn't end up buying anything. Still was a worthwhile trip as we talked about cars for a bit, he was in the process of getting his FWD tuned so I got to check that out.

I bought something from Tony's Super Summer Garage Sale.

It went smoothly from my end. He even met me halfway which was very impressive since I'm sure he would have rather been with the family.

I wanted a set of end clutches that Tony had, so I PM'd him - at 11 PM.

10AM the next morning, I had a message saying they were in the mail. He sent the parts the very next morning, without any payment whatsoever.

Plus, Tony is just the man anyway.

Laughing

I would certainly recommend doing business with Tony - a very stand-up guy.

Agaian Tony was a great seller for me. He sent the item even before I paid him. I guess it pays to have good relations with a lot of the members of this club.

Good guy vote again! Exclamation

Sorry Tony, this is WAAAAYY overdue Embarassed .

Went down to his "Super secret ghetto garage" (or something along those lines), and bought a 6 bolt off of him. Very nice guy, easy to get along with. Has not even complained about the $30 I still need to pay-pal him. Good guy vote in my book. Very Happy

And yes, I am trying to get that money to you, It is just I do not have pay-pal! It will come... eventually Embarassed .

This is also way long overdue... Tony let me borrow some of his work stuff for my work. It got me out of a huge bind and then had the nerve to give me a part I said I would buy.

Thanks again T.

This isn't quite DSM related, but certainly goes towards the type of guy Tony is. He recently got in touch with me about doing wheel bearings on the rear of his Audi. We made arrangements to drop off the car and give it a thorough look over.

It ended up being a big money repair, and unfortunately there was not much in my power that I could do to help that. I can honestly say I have never dealt with an easier guy. His personality is such that even the people that I work with, who don't know him from a hole in the wall could only refer to him as a gentleman. A true class act in my book.
