Bought a flywheel off of Josh. Brought it down from Maine when he said he would, and gave me a killer price. Would defiantly do business with him again. Good guy Vote here.

Another good guy vote for Mowery. Went up to Maine to pick up a bunch of stuff, and ended up picking up a set of injectors as well. Great guy to deal with, and hopefully he can continue to be a somewhat active member in the club giving his circumstances. Thanks again Josh Smile

Just made the trip up to Maine to purchase a vehicle from Josh. Unlike my directions from the intarnet, everything went perfectly smooth, as expected. Smile

Josh listed a Mandrel Bender for sale in early March to which I pm'd him expressing interest. The transaction was handled through pms and paypal and there were no issues here.

Greg W was kind enough to lug back the bender for me and I arranged to come pick it up one evening. When I first saw it at his house I was surprised to see it wasn't your typical mandrel bender. In fact it appears to be a press bent pipe bender similar to this utilizing a jack and several varying sized bending forms.

I spoke with several different club members and they all agree this isn't really a mandrel bender. I then expressed concern over PM to Josh that this wasn't really what I was looking for but all he really did was say he has used this to make several different roll cages and it was indeed a mandrel bender.

Josh, I don't mean to call you out like this however for the price I paid for this I could have had a model 3 tubing bender or equivalent and possibly a die for it. Now I am forced to try and sell this as it is clearly not what I am looking for.

So I bought a used T25 off Josh a couple weeks ago. However, when he accidently dropped it on his way to ship it, he immediately refunded my payment.

So a few days later he found another T25 lying around and sold it to me for the shipping cost. He also informed me that he had a brand new ECU that I was looking for, and offered to sell it to me at an extremely low cost because of what happened.

The packaging was extremely good. Thanks again, Joshua.

After asking nicely for over 8 months for 2 nitrous parts I lent to him so he could run his RWD, I finally got one back in the mail. This was after at least 20 PM's asking for the parts back. Not sure why he would just send me 1 out of 2. And why it took so many PM's but I'll just spend another $60 bucks of my money to buy the part I lost out being nice. I will never do anything for Josh M again. I guess its a good thing he's out of DSM's, and I hope to see Kevin J enjoy the RWD this year!

I think posting my expierence with Josh is just kicking a dead horse but the reason why I am posting is because I think its hilarious every other guy is either banned or suspended from the forum/classified section but when someone inside nedsms "click" start screwing people over, they look the other way. This person has screwed over more than 1 person and doesn't care. Anyone that is associated with this guy and is covering his tracks is just as much of a s**t bag as him.

And I would like to share something else I found online:

Jason,

No one is protecting Josh or anyone else! And I resent this accusation! Mad

If you have a problem with someone you can post it here in proper manner: as in specific accounts as to what has happened to YOU. And not some vague reference to "your buddy" Rolling Eyes

But what is your agenda here, anyway? You joint our site to bring-up conflict on someone who isn't here anymore (Josh hasn't posted here in over 6 months) and you reference things that happened almost a year ago...

I agree with Leon on this.

Another point to consider: Josh is a long time NEDSM member, because through the years he has helped out many other members. He's come to my rescue on more then one occasion. I've never had a bad transaction with Josh. He's been a friend to me and for that, I will come to his defense.

He's had several very personal issues recently, and I know he has retired from the DSM game. It's no excuse, but s**t happens.

Sold a turbo to Josh recently. The transaction couldn't have gone smoother. We worked out an arrangement on the payment and communication from him was 100%, just what you would want. Thanks Josh, and I hope you enjoy the turbo.

This isn't so much a "bad guy" post for Josh, I don't dislike him, but more of a warning to anyone that buys cars or other big items from him. Check all of the wiring. I'm not sure Josh or whoever does his wiring even knows what electricity is. At first I though it could be coincidence or previous owners, but after working on the Dodge truck, his old trailer, and the RWD, I can safely say that the same person did the wiring on all of them, and all of them would have eventually burned to the ground. I won't go into details on the 80-90 man hours I've lost in unf***ing things or the tens of pounds of s**t I've pulled out of all three vehicles that had nothing to do with making the electrical system actually work. Check your nuts, and your wires. Arrow

Is there anyone Mowery didn't screw? It took me 5+ years to figure out tonight that he sold me the wrong camshafts. Didn't help that HKS barely even labels their product. Now I know atleast. Thanks Josh!

He could sell ice to an eskimo. Let me guess, now he sells houses or something? His name keeps popping up on my Facebook feed.

Maybe his cars now come wired correctly and with the parts be states are on it.

Man I was wicked young and dumb when I came to this site. Looking back I wish I never owned a Dsm and never cared about cool cars.
